Woven Wraps are long pieces of non-stretchy fabric without any real shaping, seaming, or structure to them. They have the highest learning curve of all carrier styles, but the most customizable support. Most woven wraps can be used for any age, from premature newborns up through school age children if you so choose. The lengths are forgiving; most wearers can use most sizes of wrap in some manner, although the versatility and carries you can do vary.
Woven wraps are safe for front, hip, back, and worldfacing carries. They are one of the few carriers that can safely back carry newborns, although this is an advanced skill that should be reserved for experienced wrappers.
